Just a little carving for Jeph over at Questionable Content for drawing such an awesome comic!

Alright, I got off my ass and started updating again. I finally got some of my actual film pictures back, which I will be scanning soon. We took pics at the 4th Annual Fourth of July BBQ, which are up on the site. I also started a little Art Gallery section which I have nicknamed "The Boredom Files" since it is all stuff I have drawn in class during summer session. More stuff is on the way, since I enjoy updating far more than I enjoy doing my Cerritos homework ::winks::

Alrighty, first off let me say that I know there hasn’t been an update in a while, but there is a reason. BrandyOnTheRocks was running out of server space. I had room to post about one new gallery without taking down some of the older ones, which I really did not want to do. That being said, we have finally moved to a new server, so expect to start seeing new galleries once again. To all of you who know me, expect me to bust out the trusty camera even more.

There is a brand new article in the articles section from Matthew Marco, which he let me copy from his xanga site. Here is a brief intro:
I’m a huge fan of Mike Newdow—many of my peers think that his title-card bout in the Supreme Court and the various concerns of the ACLU are all liberal atheistic bullshit, but I think that it’s important—if we’re in the business of brainwashing children with ritualistic devotional poetry to meticulously-proportioned pieces of cloth and so forth—to at least allude to the existence of a non-Christian population that deserves equal respect in this world. I’ve been looking at some other people’s photography sites, and it makes me look at this site and realise what I am missing. Granted, this photo section of this site was mostly intended to be a collection of snapshots and such for the group, and anybody else who cared to look. But I want to start taking some artistic shots again, or at the very least, photos that look like they had some thought given to the composition before they were taken. With that said, since I cannot afford to get Peter’s nifty new digital SLR (though maybe he’ll let me borrow it on occassion), I am going to be borrowing the s50 from Abby a little more often, and I am also going to dust off the Minolta SLR that I have and scrounge up a little money for film. I have a decent scanner, I might as well use it. If anybody is interested in going to downtown or Long Beach on a crowded weekend afternoon for some people/perspective shots, by all means let me know.
